The components of the ArtComplex creative space, belonging to the art colony, may be rented separately or together for various professional events, institutions, companies or even individuals.

Graphic Workshop

The graphic genre has been a constant presence in the life of the art colony since its inception, with numerous creations in this form of expression almost every year. Starting from the summer of 2023, the Graphic Workshop will continue its creative process in a renovated space with expanded equipment, aiming to deepen the creative process, broaden its possibilities, and strengthen the international graphic connections of the art colony.

The facility is equipped to facilitate experimentation, pushing the boundaries between traditional (analog) and digital graphic techniques. In addition to exploring the possibilities of relief and intaglio printing, a darkroom for analog and digital photography has been set up, along with one of Europe’s largest graphic presses measuring 150×250 cm. The facility welcomes individual artists and groups throughout the year and provides opportunities for those applying for artist-in-residence programs.

The Gallery and Creative Space provides an ideal location for creative work. With its mixed functionality, the space serves as an exhibition area, studio, and photography studio. This uniquely equipped space is suitable for executing art genres with specific spatial requirements, such as installation, film, and intermedia, and is also suitable for professional photo documentation.

The communal space is versatile, accommodating lectures, film screenings and artistic and other conferences. It also offers participants in the artist-in-residence program the opportunity to hold individual and group exhibitions.

Museum1980

The foundational philosophy and mission of the art colony are to intersect Cered and contemporary art across the broadest possible spectrum. One of the most beautiful manifestations of this is the Retro Museum, alongside the Graphic Workshop and the Gallery and Creative Space.

The museum offers the experience of time travel with untouched former offices of the collective farm’s chairman and chief accountant, while reviving the emotional fragments of our collective memory. The rooms have been expanded with tools and objects from the collective farm office, providing a sense of the atmosphere of the once regionally significant cooperative in the 1980s and 1990s. Uniquely in the country, this space allows us to encounter the visual and material blend of society, ideology, philosophy, and art.
