Palóc goulash

• Mutton stew or other leftover stew
(preferably pork, 2 portions)
• 20 dkg green beans (or yellow
• 4 medium sized potatoes
• a small cup of sour cream
• flour
• bay leaf
• seasoning
Procedure: Heat the stew, add 2-3 bay leaves and seasoning, and then bring it to boil. Add the green beans and the water. When the beans start getting softer, add the diced potatoes. When the potato is soft, mix some water, sour
cream and flour together, then add the mix to the soup. Bring it to boil and serve.



Butter milk potato

• 1 kg potatoes
• 1 tbsp salt
• 25 dkg all-purpose flour
• butter milk
Procedure: Put the peeled potatoes into water so that the water level is just above the potatoes, and then boil it until
mushy. Add the flour little by little until the soup gets thick and the flour has been mixed in evenly. Leave it on the cooker the whole time. Do not remove it until it is thick enough. Then let it rest until it can be portioned properly. Take some of it using a wooden spoon then portion it onto a cake pan with a knife. Pour plenty of oil on it, to avoid them sticking together and roast until golden brown. Serve hot with butter milk poured on top (it is delicious with
sour cream or curd)



Dilled Cottage cheese pie

Ingredients (dough):
• 35 dkg flour
• 3 dkg yeast
• a dash of baking powder
• 1 egg
• a pinch of salt
• 1 dl milk
• 1 coffee spoon of sugar
• 3 tbsp oil
• 60 dkg cottage cheese
• 1 egg
• 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
• 20 dkg sugar
• half a pack of raisins
• dill
• cinnamon sprinkled on top for
Procedure: Heat the milk and sugar until lukewarm and stir in yeast. Mix flour and other ingredients then add the
lukewarm milk to make the dough. Add oil, and then mix thoroughly. When the dough has risen to double its size, pour it into a cake pan which has been greased. Spread the flavoured cottage cheese on it evenly and sprinkle it with cinnamon for decoration. Put it in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes at medium heat. After cooling slice and serve.
